    How long can GS559A be used?

    Under normal circumstances, battery can be used for 1 year. If the power is depleted, you can use it after replacing 2 × AA batteries.

    How many smart alarms can the smart hub support?

    One smart hub can support up to 16 smart alarms. You can set up multiple hubs to manage dozens of smart alarms.

    You can pair multiple GS559A under the same Hub so that you can use the linked alarm function, and when one Alarm alarms, the other Alarms can also alarm.
    If you purchase multiple GS559A and pair them under each Hub separately, you will NOT be able to use the linked alarm function this way.

    Why does the alarm do not respond when I simulate smoke to test?

    It may be that the concentration of smoke has not yet reached the alarm threshold. Simulating smoke yourself can easily cause a fire. For your safety, we recommend that you use our Test function to test the equipment.

    How to set up HomeKit alarm GS559A?

    The setup includes hardware installation and software installation. We recommend you to use meross app to set up. In meross app, you will enjoy crystal clear step-by-step instructions, dedicated troubleshooting, tips for use, and firmware upgrade notice. You can only set up HomeKit in meross app, but you will be able to manage your alarm in both meross app and Apple Home app.
